I like the new ? mark for the category descriptions. But one of my users would like to see something similar done for each final section in that category. This just makes sense to me as well. Included is an image that I have mocked up for an example.

I guess that shouldn't be difficult to do. All we have to do is ignore the description of the board when a certain parameter is passed.

As far as I can see the only advantage in your suggestion is the hiding of the descriptions.

I would have thought it would work more like those marks do on categories, where by hiding a board the information such as "threads", "posts" & "last post" would not be pulled from the database resulting in some speed increase. Basically a "turn off this board".

That is right, MTO. I have quite a long list and this would only help in reducing the clutter for those that like to read them all.
